Singer Rehema Namakula, commonly known as Rema has said not finishing school is one of her biggest regrets in life.
The singer was speaking during a graduation ceremony for her manager Solo Kayemba in Kampala yesterday.
When given an opportunity to speak to the graduand friends of Kayemba, she said I regret to have not gone back to school to pursue my degree when I could.
“When I was still with Kayemba, he advised me to go to school but I did no think about it then. Now I would be here graduating with him. I surely want to return to school but I am not sure I can sit in class anymore,” Rema said.
“I will think about it, It is never too late.”
Rema claimed that Kayemba is the reason she broke through in the music industry, and she has no other way to repay him. She joked that she would name her next child Kayemba.
